FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for treatment of patients having posttraumatic deformations of lid slit internal angle. Method includes fixation of lid slit internal angle by means of external explant. Explant contains lock and clamp made as plates. Last plate is provided with through holes to accommodate catches. Operating surface form follows outlines of lid slit internal angle. Clamp is essentially pressure member oriented in opposite direction. It fixes the given device by ridge and opposite clivus of nose. Hook-like catches are manufactured for compression force adjustment. Given explant makes it possible to preserve and control soft tissue compression of lid slit internal angle during early period of scarring. EFFECT: reduced traumaticity and postoperative complications. 2 cl, 3 dwg
