FIELD: insulation materials. SUBSTANCE: insulation has structure with marked peripheral crusts on inner and outer surfaces, which is uniformly distributed across entire cross-section. Composition includes organic compounds containing polyisocyanate (component B, 60- 90 weight parts); polyether mixture, blowing agent, catalyst, stabilizer (component A, 30-50 weight parts); and also mineral filler (component C, 120-200 weight parts). Insulation may by applied, for instance, to protect steel pipes. EFFECT: increased reliability of insulation. 1 tbl
