TRACK MACHINE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; machines for lifting and lining track skeletons, setting ties by marks and expanding rail joints at construction of new railway lines, second tracks and repair and maintenance of permanent way. SUBSTANCE: track machine can be used for cutting out ballast from ballast boxes an d replacing ties at repair of railway tracks. Machine has self-propelled chassis with frame resting on two wheelsets. Front and rear devices for mounting replaceable working members are installed on frame. Each device consists of frame with vertical guides secured on chassis frame and lifting frame with brackets for mounting replaceable working member installed on frame with vertical guides for displacement along guides by drive. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of machine, quick replacement of working members to meet operating requirements without use of load lifting facilities. 3 cl, 9 dwg
