FIELD: railway transport; repair and reconditioning of rail tracks. SUBSTANCE: rail breaker has loading device 1 consisting of housing, jack with stop for engaging with rail and rail head grips with wedges 10, 19 arranged in pairs at both sides of housing and breaking device 2 which consists of frame-clamp 35 with barrel 36 and breech block for cartridge and striker and with holder and cutters. Wedges 10, 19 are installed on housing by means of inclined guides for travelling along guides in vertical plane across loading device. Guides with wedges 19 arranged at one side of housing are installed for turning around longitudinal horizontal axis. EFFECT: increased service life of loading device. 5 dwg
