FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism includes first truncated cone secured to the shaft which is set in rotary motion by means of drive member and second truncated cone which is connected with movable members of transmission. Truncated cones are mounted in inverted position relative to each other so that narrow part of one cone is opposite to wide part of other cone. Rotary motion from one cone is transmitted to other cone by means of roller made in form of two inverted truncated cones mounted at the same axis and connected by their larger bases. EFFECT: continuous successive change of speed of motion at retained constant rotational speed of engine. 3 cl, 1 dwg
