FIELD: disposal of nuclear industry radioactive wastes deep in earth. SUBSTANCE: several storage cavities are constructed in structure of lower melting point than enclosing rock, lower cavities are filled with radioactive wastes of activity insufficient for starting self-dipping process; then upper cavity is filled with high- activity wastes until they start dipping by gravity. Prior to filling the cavities holes are made in them to provide for their communication and material forming, together with burial rock; melt of lower melting point is introduced into cavities. Holes feeding wastes to cavities in low-melting geological structures in the form of boss buried by sedimentary rock are tilted so that dome parts of cavities are saved without structural variations. Storage cavities are made in low-melting geological enclosing structures separated from main territory of region by several long dikes. EFFECT: improved radiation safety. 5 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
