FIELD: self-storage methods for high-activity radionuclide materials. SUBSTANCE: method is designed for storage of tanks with waste which total weight is tens of tons and which temperature and specific weight are greater than temperature and density of adjacent rock. Said method involves location of tanks with easily fusible material at bottom of cavity, arranging tanks with radioactive materials with fusion mix mixed up with tanks with flux, filling upper part of cavity with tanks with flux. EFFECT: increased speed of storage operations, decreased danger of radioactive contamination of environment. 5 cl, 4 dwg
