FIELD: self- disposal of high- and medium-activity materials deep into lithosphere beds. SUBSTANCE: well and cavity are drilled in common salt (halite) bed or dome with cover thickness of 1-10 km, common-salt solvent is pumped into mentioned cavity, and capsules containing radioactive materials are immersed in solvent. Heat released from mentioned capsules melts cavity bottom. In the process, very active material rapidly, within 6-10 h, leaves biosphere and its self-disposal to depth of down to 5 m occurs within a year. EFFECT: provision for excluding escape of radioactive materials under emergency conditions. 8 cl, 1 dwg
