FIELD: chemistry, biology and medicine. SUBSTANCE: method comprises reacting carbon-14 marked barium carbonate with sodium tetrafluoroborate at 1: (1- 2) molar ratio, respectively. The method is carried out in the presence of magnesium chloride-sodium fluoride mixture at 1:(3.5-4.5) weight ratio. In this case, weight ratio of said mixture to sodium tetrafluoroborate is 1:(18-20) provided that process is carried out at 350-400 C. The present invention makes it possible to shorten process time.
