FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: original extract from solution is transferred into acetonitrile. Acetonitrile solution is diluted with distilled water to achieve 55-63% acetonitrile concentration, concentrated, and purified to remove light and polar impurities with the aid of concentrating cartridge inserted into injector of chromatograph instead of injection loop. Sample is separated into fractions on high-performance liquid chromatograph and, once taken off fractions are transferred into octane, they are subjected to analysis for nitro derivatives of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by the method of low-temperature phosphorescence using phosphorescence spectra plus combined addition and internal standard technique. Calculation of Concentration of nitro derivatives is calculated using conventional formula.
