FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining fractional composition of sulphonated phthalocyanine aluminum, involving separation of fractions of sulphonic acids by thin-layer chromatography in an eluent of composition n-butanol – acetic acid – water. Method is characterized by separation of sulphonic acid fractions in an eluent: n-butanol: acetic acid: water in volume ratio of 3.5:1:4.4, and quantitative determination of fractions is carried out photometrically at wavelength 671–675 nm.
EFFECT: method enables to determine fractional composition of aluminum phthalocyanine sulphonic acids with high accuracy and using simple and available equipment, which enables to realize it in production conditions.
