FIELD: mechanical engineering; automobile construction; space engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has two rigidly fixed nonmagnetic cylindrical casings 1 and 2 with end holes for ferromagnetic controlling and power pistons 3 and 5, respectively. Inserted through central bore of each casing are shafts 10 and 11 with ferromagnetic shields 16 and 17 having intermittent shielding surface which are placed between pistons 3, 5 and permanent magnets 22, 23. Controlling piston of each cylindrical casing is coupled through control gear with shaft 11 of ferromagnetic shield 17 of second casing to provide its periodic turning as controlling piston 3 is attracted by magnet 22 or as it drops out. EFFECT: improved design; enlarged functional capabilities. 8 dwg
