FIELD: microwave equipment. SUBSTANCE: control device, which uses microwaves generated by magnetron and heat generated by heater to chamber for food processing by heat, has plate, which carries food to be processed by heat, unit for elevating and lowering said plate, unit for detection of position for measuring height of food loaded on plate, and control unit for comparison of food height, which is detected by said position detection unit, to reference height, and for control of operations of heater and elevating unit using result provided by position detection unit. Position detection unit may have photodetector with light emitter and receiver and may be mounted on opposite inner walls of heat processing chamber. EFFECT: possibility to detect contact of heater with food under processing in order to eliminate problems of food break or heater dirtying. 7 cl, 3 dwg
