SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of selecting one of possible modes of preparing food: heating by means of microwave irradiation or by means of resistive heater; measuring mass of food product by means of weighing device; determining desirable height of food as function of food preparation mode and mass of food by means of controller; rotating trough by means of rotation mechanism; raising trough until desirable height at rotating it; energizing raising mechanism after food preparation process for descending trough to it initial position.
