FIELD: agriculture, in particular, hand-held equipment for planting of sprouted potato seed tubers. SUBSTANCE: potato planter has shank with blade extending along shank longitudinal axis and provided with foot rest at one shank side, handle positioned perpendicular to shank at its other side, seeding device, receptacle vessel with bracket, movable handle, retaining coupling, strengthening faceplate and pushing tie-rod. Receptacle vessel is rigidly attached to face side of blade. Movable handle is connected with receptacle vessel through pushing tie-rod. Retaining coupling is provided with slot and disposed on shank so as to cooperate with pushing tie-rod. Shank attachment sleeve has strengthening faceplate serving foot rest and seeding depth restrictor. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced labor intensity. 2 dwg
