EVAPORATOR FUNCTIONING IN AGREEMENT WITH CONCEPT OF FALLING FILM Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: evaporation technology. SUBSTANCE: evaporator functioning in agreement with concept of falling film has casing 1 and device 2 composed of evaporation tubes arranged in casing. Concentrated liquid is fed on to external surface of evaporating tubular device 2 and vapor is supplied inside tubes of this device. In accordance with invention evaporating tubular device 2 is formed by evaporating members and each evaporating member is formed by evaporation tubes 9 located on one level. Upper ends of tubes are joined to common collection chamber 8 and lower ends are linked to common collection chamber 10 so that there exists connection between both collection chamber 8, 10 through each tube 9. Owing to this collection chambers 8 are interconnected near upper ends of evaporating members by means of upper connection chamber 12 and correspondingly collection chambers 10 are interconnected near lower end with the aid of lower connection chamber 13.
