FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: self-braking mechanism for reversible drive has electric motor with reduction gear to wind the spring, and also shaft and carriage. Cavities are found on outer surface of brake disk. Cylindrical housing is perforated. Brake disk is provided with bridges in form of blades between which above-indicated cavities are located. Blade bridges are radially curved in disk braking direction. EFFECT: simplified design, increased reliability of self-braking mechanism owing to dispensing with friction parts and replacing mechanical braking by aerodynamic braking. 3 cl, 3 dwg
