FIELD: baking industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves using pair of rotary rolls for continuous and uniform supplying of dough from charging chute; driving rolls for rotation in opposite directions and for linear movement or multiple rocking to provide multiple compression of dough. Apparatus has at least one pair of rolls rotating in opposite directions and arranged at charging chute bottom, and device for periodical readjustment of roll spacing. Such construction prevents stress concentration in dough passing between rolls and provides steady-state and continuous supplying of dough.
