FIELD: production of liquid and semiliquid chocolate mass, in particular, equipment for treating rubbed cocoa. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical vessel formed from two cylinders intersecting along their axes, shafts and grinding bodies placed within cylinders. Each shaft is provided with eccentrically arranged disks of identical eccentricity. Two disks positioned in shaft mid portion have identical eccentricity direction. Disks positioned in lower part are arranged at uniform variation of eccentricity angle circumferentially in the direction of rotation of shaft. Disks positioned above middle disks are arranged in symmetry with lower disks. Apparatus is provided with cooling jacket. Charging system allows product to be preliminarily prepared for fine grinding. Discharge system is adapted for separating grinding bodies from product. Such construction allows urging action of grinding bodies upon product under process to be improved. EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability in operation and improved quality by uniform granulometric composition of product. 4 cl, 5 dwg
