METHOD OF COSMETIC TREATMENT OF TRANSPORT FACILITIES Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: applicable for treatment of cars of private owners and motor transport depots. SUBSTANCE: method consists in movement of car for treatment by stages of washing by aqueous solutions of detergents, drying and polishing. In the first stage of treatment abrasive is removed from the external surface of the car, engine and interior of the engine compartment are treated with detergents with a delay on the surface being treated; at the same time arch, disks, wheels, mudguards are washed. Then, the engine compartment is washed by hot water with shampoo, and final washing of the body by shampoo is performed; the car is transferred to the second stage of treatment, where the body is dried, the boot and saloon of the car are cleaned with simultaneous application of cleaning chemical composition onto them. The body is coated with the first layer of polishing agent with preliminary polishing, and the lock cavities are filled with water repulsive liquid with subsequent delay. Rubber and plastic parts of the vehicle body are blackened, then the car is transferred to the next stage of treatment, mechanical removal of cleansing chemical compositions from the car surfaces is performed, and the second layer of polishing agent is applied onto the body with subsequent final polishing of the car.
