FIELD: production of ornamental articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminarily preparing surfaces by engraving, defatting, scratching, oiling with fireproof clay solution; processing pattern ornament with flux; applying blackening alloy; providing melting, trimming, etching, grinding and polishing of said alloy. Article is defatted in 5-6% solution of sulfuric acid at temperature of 70-85 C. Alloy is molten at temperature of 450-550 C and etched in 2.5-3.5% solution of sulfuric acid at temperature of 50-70 C.
