FIELD: thermal treating equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has shell, within which are mounted material conveying rolls and heating members. At least one heating member is positioned between ascending and descending material portions in parallel with roll axis between roll reflective surface out of contact with elongate material and reflective plates. The latter are positioned between elongate material portions movable in opposite directions. Reflective plates may be disposed transverse to or laterally of working path.
