FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; noise suppression and cleaning of exhaust gases from hard and liquid particles. SUBSTANCE: muffler has vertical housing with inclined side wall widening downwards and made in form of scroll whose output is connected with tangentially installed exhaust branch pipe with cross section increasing towards outlet. Two rings are made in form of truncated cone, with larger section from below. Inlet branch pipe installed tangentially on upper end face convex surface of housing has space connected with inlet chamber located in center of first ring. Inlet swirler is installed in upper part of inlet chamber. Two disks forming separating chamber are installed in lower part of inlet chamber. Separating chamber is connected with radial channels of outlet swirler which is installed on ring input into slime collector and in separating chamber in its lower part. EFFECT: reduced harmful effect on environment and increased efficiency of muffler. 2 cl, 2 dwg
