FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport. SUBSTANCE: inertia engine has flat ferromagnetic support and flat nonmagnetic housing freely fitted on support. Sector unbalance weight mounted on housing is connected with electric motor for synchronous rotation in plane parallel to housing. Unbalance weight is made of ferromagnetic material. Flat permanent magnet is rigidly secured on housing under unbalance weight in zone of its rotation. Permanent magnet is orientated with its longitudinal axis coinciding with axis of magnetization along radial axis of unbalance weight when the latter is located under magnet. Magnet is limited in height by plane of rotation of unbalance weight, and in area, by outer contour of unbalance weight. It is installed for fixed turning relative to axis of rotation on unbalance weight. EFFECT: increased efficiency of translational motion drives of actuating mechanisms and machines, in particular, vehicle engines. 3 dwg
