METHOD OF DIAGNOSING VIBRATIONAL DISEASE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2123279 C1

FIELD: vibration resistance in humans. SUBSTANCE: before and after performing functional loading Trousseault-Bondsdorf test, one estimates, from results of electromyography, extent of alterations in separate electromyographic characteristics as ratio of a great characteristic to lesser one. Estimation of expression of fibrillations, fasciculation, and Chwostek syndrome is performed during 8-10 min after performing functional Trousseault- Bondsdorf test. Additionally performed are: electrocardiography, psychometric investigation of the level of psychoemotional stress, rheovasography, roentgenography or densitometry of support skeleton, biochemical examination with quantitative evaluation of the extent of deviation of the levels of ordinary and ionized calcium in blood serum from standard values. Afterwards, one calculates (i) corresponding indexes using individual characteristics taking into account their informational value and (ii) integral quantitative characteristic of vibrational pathology using appropriate formula. Disease is diagnosed using the following scale: when above integral quantitative characteristic is below 4000 conditional units, lack of vibrational disease in person being examined is stated; when the characteristic ranges from 4001 to 7000 conditional units, first-degree vibrational disease is stated; when 7001 to 8500 conditional units, second-degree vibrational disease is stated; and when higher than 8501 conditional units, third-degree vibrational disease is diagnosed. EFFECT: increased reliability of examination. 2 tbl
