FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: indicator device designed for controlling sterilization of objects has container with test organism carriers and container with indicating nutrient medium. Each container is tightly closed with cap made in the form of loop-shaped membrane. Inside part of membrane is peripherally tightly connected with end wall of container, and its outside part has free end protruding beyond side wall of container. Container with nutrient medium has sealing means abutted upon inside part of membrane. Cap of container with test organisms encloses biofilter. Use of such indicator device eliminates requirements for aseptic conditions when test organism is transferred into nutrient medium. Contamination of test organisms is completely avoided. Quality of controlling conditions of sterilizing objects is considerably improved. Dehydration of nutrient medium, which would influence incubation time, is excluded. EFFECT: improved working qualities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
