FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for sterilizing drugs in drugstores. When carrying out sterilization, suspension of test organisms with neutral medium is placed in solution to be sterilized. Neutral medium eliminates growth of spores and ensures their vital activity until testing sterilization conditions. Before incubation, suspension is combined with concentrated nutrient medium. Their volumes are taken at such ratio to form medium providing growth of spores, if survived, during sterilization at incubation temperature. Indicator device has container with concentrated nutrient medium and container with test organisms in neutral medium. Each container is tightly closed with cap made in the form of loop-shaped membrane. Membrane has free end protruding beyond side wall of container. When drawn by their free ends, membranes are detached from walls of containers to form common internal space where suspension is mixed with concentrated nutrient medium. EFFECT: excluded worsening of growth quality of nutrient medium, degradation of indicator, and contamination of test organisms. 3 cl, 3 dwg
