FIELD: driving devices for ultracentrifuges used for separating uranium isotopes. SUBSTANCE: gas centrifuge has vertical rotating thin-walled cylinder and hysteresis end engine with disk hysteresis rotor mounted on cylinder shaft. Rotor disk is provided with two segmented slots arranged in symmetry with respect to disk axis. Ratio of remaining part of diameter of disk and whole diameter is 0.5-0.7. Axis of symmetry of disk between slots is provided with two openings arranged in symmetry with disk axis. Diameter of openings is 0.2-0.3 of disk diameter, and center-to-center distance is 0.5-0.7 of disk diameter. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
