FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for separating isotope mixtures comprises injection of a separated isotope mixture by tangential injection, separation of the isotope mixture in the vortex flow. The separated working mixture is a liquid solution in which the low-boiling inorganic alkaline solvent is the predominant component, and the dissolved substance is uranium hexafluoride and the removal of the products enriched and depleted by the target isotope. The device for separating the isotope mixtures comprises a housing 5, input units of the separated mixture by the tangential injection 5 and removal of the products 7 and 8 enriched and depleted by the target isotope, a container 1 and a pump 2 for the initial separated mixture and a container 3 and a pump 4 for the product enriched by the target isotope, main pipes 10, 11 and 12 for injecting the separated mixture, for removing the products enriched and depleted by the target isotrope and installed inside the housing 5 and a partition 9 in the form of a disk with a hole which diameter refers to the diameter of the disk as 3:4.

EFFECT: reduced energy costs, reliable and easy maintenance and management of both the technological process and the equipment which carries out this process.
