FIELD: quality control of rolled pieces in different industry branches. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two pairs of driving gear wheels fixed to axle that is kinematically joined with drive unit. Two coaxially arranged rotary casings are provided with two driven central gear wheels. One gear wheel is rigidly secured to rotary casing. Planetary mechanisms are mounted on rotary casings, each planetary mechanism has pinions and second driven central gear wheel driving pinions and mounted onto rotary casing by means of bearing unit. Driven central gear wheels of each pair have different number of teeth and they are joined with driving gear wheels. Measuring pickups are used for quality control of rolled piece that is subjected to rotation and translation motion.
