FIELD: laser manufacturing of works of art and labeling of transparent materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves focusing of laser beam inside sample with power density which is greater than destruction threshold of material in order to generate destroyed regions, and movement of sample along given trajectory. Generation of image at least partly is achieved by shaping several such surfaces. Relative movement of sample and focusing point provides non-intersection of destroyed regions. Generation of image at least partly is shaped as mosaic which elements are generated in punctures. Destroyed regions around punctures inside each mosaic element overlap. EFFECT: increased contrast and mechanical strength of articles. 3 cl
