FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: essence of invention lies in loading of drilled holes with low-energy cord that has no radial pulse with blasting used as initiator and usage of high explosive. Before loading into holes cord is connected to high-power intermediate detonator of OAO-850 type and then it is lowered into bottom part of hole. Hole is loaded with high explosive having increased time of burning of products of break-down of inhomogeneous mixture ( granulated trinitrotoluene and granulated saltpeter ) which size of inclusions of separate components amounts to 0.03 m and burning time is equal to or more than 10 ms. EFFECT: increased efficiency of wanted action of blast, decreased expenses and prevention of overcomminution of rock mass. 1 cl, 1 dwg
