FIELD: mining industry; intended for blasting operating at open-cast mining of mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: known methods of blast-hole charging and blasting do not provide for self-destruction of explosive charge in case of failure of its detonation. The invention provides for reliable self-destruction of explosive charge based on ammonium nitrate; it is attained due to the fact that at charging of the blast-hole with explosive and means of its initiation a ring or loops of detonating cord are made in the section of detonating cord projecting beyond the explosive charge in its height; then s shell of film material is lowered into blast-hole and is filled with aqueous solution of alkali while the free end of detonating cord is connected to connecting cord main line. EFFECT: enhanced safety.
