FIELD: filter materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paper- texture filter materials adequate for use in high-performance purification of hot gases from aerosols. Method is accomplished by dispersing submicron mineral fibers, formation of paper from pulp, dehydration and drying of paper. In the dispersing stage, filter material composition is complemented with coarse silica fibers. Submicron mineral fibers are superfine and microfine fibers 0.8 and 0.25 mcm in diameter, respectively. Coarse silica fibers are those with diameter 5-7 mcm and length 4-5 mm. Filter material contains 35- 50% of superfine fibers, 45-60% microfine silica fibers, and 5-10% coarse silica fibers. Method allows creating highly heat-resistant filters with low aerodynamic resistance for high-performance purification of air at 400-700 C in various areas.
