FIELD: civil engineering and construction; replacement of underground service lines. SUBSTANCE: device has impact unit with cable secured in its tail part and connected with pulling member. Tail part of impact unit should be provided with groove made on its outer surface and with at least two holes made from its end face and directed to groove so that cable is placed in part of groove between holes. Holes can be made with inclination to longitudinal axis of impact unit and arranged diametrically opposite to each other. This will provide contact of cable with impact unit over larger length, Inclination of holes and smooth change-over surfaces between holes will provide uniform loading of cable in connection without considerable local contact stresses.
