FIELD: replacement of defective underground pipe lines without digging-out trenches. SUBSTANCE: old pipe line is broken through passing striking working member through it; then new wall is formed into which new pipe line is forced; couplings and pits are removed and parameters of pipe line are retained. Removal is effected through submergence of casing pipe from surface at areas where obstacles (couplings and pits) are located. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency at low expenditures. 6 cl, 10 dwg
