FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining electric resistance of the whole organism and chest as body part. Integral liquid distribution coefficient (LDC) is calculated. LDC value being lower than 0.13-0.02 inflammation process in lungs is diagnosed (LDC norm is equal to 0.18 +0.02). The value being equal to 0.1+0.01, interstitial lung edema is diagnosed. The value being equal to 0.1+0.01, alveolar lung edema, fibrosis is diagnosed, when no hypoxemia signs are observed, liquid presence in pleural cavities is diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis.
