FIELD: mechanics, lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in electroluminescent data displays, indicators, instrument scale highlighting, AD posters, decorative light panels etc. Electroluminescent light source comprises at least two electrodes arranged spaced apart in one plane on dielectric strips, solid electroluminescent and dielectric layers, and the third electrode arranged at the level of the gap between the first two electrodes. Electrodes represent electro conducting polymer layer including finely divided carbon in binder. Dielectric layer comprises finely divided powder with a high dielectric coefficient in the said polymer binder. Electroluminescent layer contains a powder of electroluminophor in binder. Nitrile-rubber rubber is used as a binder, poly(ethylene terephthalate) serves as a substrate and optically transparent sealing layer.
EFFECT: higher brightness of lightning, contrast and area and lighting of proposed sources.
