FIELD: fuel cleaning equipment; shipboard cleaning equipment used for cleaning diesel fuels from water and mechanical admixtures. SUBSTANCE: proposed separator has vertical cylindrical housing, settler with admixture discharge branch pipe, expansion chamber with deflector whose upper part is made in form of plate made from truncated cone and lower part is made in form of plate made from cone whose vertex is directed upward. Lower plate is provided with straightening unit . Baffle plate mounted above deflector plates is made in form of plate from truncated cone with lesser base downward. Guide tube before expansion chamber of deflector is provided with attachment and deflecting ring in form of truncated cone whose lesser base is directed upward is mounted on upper plate near its outer edge.
