FIELD: equipment for separation of particles of solid substances and fluid media of higher density from fluid media of lower density, particularly, for fuel purification from water and mechanical impurities. SUBSTANCE: device has vertical cylindrical body, settler with branch pipe for withdrawal of impurities, expansion chamber with deflector whose upper part is made in the form of plate from truncated cone and lower part in the form of plate from cone with vertex upward. Device has deflecting partition in the form of plate from truncated cone with small base downward and installed above defector. Deflector has additional plates in the form of truncated cone located between upper and lower plates and rigidly coaxially secured to each other. External edges of all plates are bent downward, and internal edges of additional plates are bent upward. Lower part of each additional plate has a row of holes, and rectifying device is integral with lower plate. EFFECT: higher efficiency of fuel purification. 3 cl, 1 dwg
