FIELD: individual flights in atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: rotoplane consists of skeleton including rods and rotor provided with blades and mounted vertically in upper portion of skeleton. Connected with skeleton is control surface which turns about axis of rotor through angle exceeding 360 deg. Skeleton is provided with flexible coupling for holding the pilot at distance of action of one of extremities. Flexible coupling is also used for holding the pilot in any position and for motion in any direction for control of rotoplane. During motion, pilot may change force of action of his extremities on skeleton members, thus shifting CG of "rotoplane-pilot" system from vertical axis of rotor and causing respective inclination of rotoplane and giving rise to force making the rotoplane move in direction of this force. Pilot may perform take-off, light and landing in any position having turned the skeleton and himself in required direction. EFFECT: avoidance of dangerous mode in diving flight at the same aerodynamic efficiency as compared with deltaplanes. 4 cl, 19 dwg
