FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: chromatographic analysis device designed for performing immunoassays permits to rapidly analyze biologically important analytes and to fulfill required extractions in situ with no use of special extraction equipment. Device has extended dynamic range and is protected against influence of particles and colored components. In one embodiment of invention, device comprises first counter-block containing sample-preparation zone appropriate for preparing test sample and second counter-block containing chromatographic medium. The first and second counter-blocks can be oppositely positioned so that, when sample-preparation zone is brought into contact with chromatographic medium, test sample is transferred into the latter. Analyte is preferably detected by means of visually detectable label. Other versions of device differ by arrangement of units ensuring optimal chromatography of a series of analytes and also bidirectional chromatography. Consequent versions proved to be appropriate for performing competitive immunoassays. EFFECT: enabled inclusion of device into a series of analytical kits, and possibility of using device in sandwich and competitive methods are evidenced.
