FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method of amplifying a reading signal of a fluid collection device, comprising a variable action of a first working electrode and a first counter electrode with a sample applied thereon in collector mode and in generator mode in fast sequence, so that oxidation-reduction cycling occurs to obtain amplified signal, wherein the fast sequence is in range of 0.1 to 15 Hz, the first working electrode and the first counter electrode are components of the first electrochemical cell; alternating action of the second working electrode and the second counter electrode of the second electrochemical cell with a sample deposited thereon is non-in phase with variable action of the first working electrode and the first counter electrode; measurement of current of amplified signal and comparison of measurement result of current of amplified signal with preset information for detection of at least one of concentration and presence of said electroactive substance in sample. Invention also discloses an analytical device and a method of reading a fluid collection device.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and easier measurement of the measured signal.
