FIELD: laser communication, power supply of flying and space objects. SUBSTANCE: method involves detection of object coordinates in moment t0, generation of additional beam pulse, reception of reflected additional beam pulse and generation of power pulse by means of conversion of leading edge of reflected additional beam pulse. Goal of invention is achieved by detection of object distance R(t0) and velocity R(t0) in moment t0 in coordinate system with respect to first given point A1, which serves as reference for measuring object coordinates . Then additional beam pulse is directed towards second given point A2. Reflected additional beam pulse is generated by reflection of additional beam pulse in second given point A2 in moment t1, when additional beam pulse reaches second given point A2. Then distance H(t1) between second given point A2 and power beam source is measured. After generation of power beam, it is directed from first given point A1 in moment t2 to point A3 of expected position of object with coordinates . Distance between first and second given points A1 and A2 is equal to , where is tangential constituent of speed of power beam source with respect to first given point A1.
