FIELD: protein products. SUBSTANCE: objective of invention is to develop method for preparing edible soya-been protein isolate containing isoflavones which can inhibit growth of human cancer cells. For that, protein material is extracted at pH above isoelectric point of soya-been material and pH value of aqueous extract is adjusted to the level of isoelectric point to precipitate protein material. The later is separated and optionally washed with water in amount not exceeding weight of protein material by a factor of four.
