FIELD: processing of plastic materials having melting temperature close to melting temperature of polyethylene. SUBSTANCE: equipment to process waste of polyethylene film has working chamber, loading funnel, tray to unload products, knives to reduce products in size. Cone-shaped space ending with ducts in lower part is formed between immobile body of working chamber and mobile conical screw. Size of ducts is adjusted depending on type of starting material. Knives are arranged on internal surface of immobile body of working chamber along helical line. Knives arranged on external surface of mobile conical screw are located between turns along helical line too. Knives to cut melted strands coming over ducts are installed on end face of conical screw. Equipment makes it possible to process waste of polyethylene film with minimum energy consumption and to produce waste of polyethylene in the form of granules and small particles which can be used in production of polyethylene film or articles from polyethylene. EFFECT: reduced energy consumption, repeated usage of polyethylene film waste for production of polyethylene articles. 2 dwg
