FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chamber rotating relative to its longitudinal direction, in particular, chamber for low-temperature carbonization of waste. Chamber contains multiple heating pipes disposed in its internal space. Pipes are provided with shock-reflecting shells that cover at least upper parts of heating pipes in position when they are moved away from their lowest position in direction of rotation of hearth chamber to 30-40 deg., preferably to 45 deg. In addition, heating pipes are arranged radially in oriented rows parallel to each other. Shock-reflecting shells are made in the form of steel grooves and are located on a part of total length of pipes. EFFECT: increased lifetime of heating pipes in hearth chamber. 8 cl, 2 dwg
