FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: this actually relates to thermal removal of waste. Device has furnace, and installed in internal space of it is drum for low-temperature carbonization of waste. Drum rotates around its own longitudinal axis. Located inside drum is multiplicity of heating pipes which are directed parallel to each other. Flue gas flows around these heating pipes so as to heat hard material that is to effect pyrolysis of waste or decomposition by heat. Direction of charging waste is opposite to direction of flue gas flow, therefore at inlet area of charging waste where high demand of energy exists at relatively low temperature of flue gas, problem arises of ensuring sufficient heat transfer. This is achieved by means of swirling rings which are located inside heating pipes to cause swirling. For further improvement of heat introduction use can be made of displacing bodies also located inside heating pipes. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 11 cl, 8 dwg
