FIELD: methods of production of glass with coating for use in transportation facilities and in construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: device for application of coatings to glass base consists of gas distributor with discharge hole close to base for direction of gaseous reaction mixture to base surface. The device has many vertical pipes connecting with distributor and located at some distance from one another along the entire length of distributor for supply of gaseous reaction mixture to distributor. The device includes appliance for determination of uniformity of coating thickness and appliance for supply of one or several reagents or inert gas to one or more vertical pipes for changing concentration of one or more reagents in gaseous reaction mixture which is supplied through one or more vertical pipes. As a result, the rate of application of coating changes near such vertical pipes to ensure deposition of coating in application of it to surface of base. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 29 cl, 2 dwg
