FIELD: power supplies for vehicles. SUBSTANCE: ac generator has additional phase lead and voltage regulator is provided, in addition, with variable voltage divider, frequency threshold device, and one more transistor. Transistor switch of voltage regulator is controlled by variable voltage divider built around two transistors and having its center tap connected to base of transistor switch. Base of one transistor of voltage divider is connected to voltage threshold device and that of second one, to first output of frequency threshold device. Second output of frequency threshold device is connected to base of additional transistor whose circuit incorporates starter turn-on relay. Additional phase lead of generator is connected to input of frequency threshold device. EFFECT: improved operating conditions for storage battery and starter. 1 dwg
